Changing the menu settings

		ON	To automatically turn on the Sony TV when using
			the super laser link function

	LTR SIZE	zNORMAL	To display selected menu items in normal size
		2⋅	To display selected menu items at twice the normal
			size
	DEMO MODE	zOFF	To cancel the demonstration mode
		ON	To make the demonstration appear
	WORLD TIME	—––	To set the clock to the local time
			Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to set a time zone
			difference. The clock changes by the time difference
			you set here. If you set the time difference to 0, the
			clock returns to the originally set time.
	BEEP	zMELODY	To output the melody when you set the POWER
			switch to ON, change the menu settings, or when an
			unusual condition occurs on your VCR
		NORMAL	To output the beep sound instead of the melody
		OFF	To cancel all sound
	COMMANDER	zVTR2	To activate your VCR with a Remote Commander
			supplied with a Sony video camera recorder
		VTR1-6	To activate your VCR with a Remote Commander
			supplied with a Sony product.
			For details, refer to “Playing back a tape” (p. 15).
		OFF	To deactivate the Remote Commander to avoid
			remote control misoperation caused by other VCR’s
			remote control
	DISPLAY	zLCD	To show the display on the LCD screen
		V-OUT/LCD	To show the display on the TV screen and LCD screen
	VIDEO EDIT	—––	To make a program and perform video editing (p. 37)
	EDIT SET	—––	To adjust and set the synchronicity of your VCR and
			the other VCR for dubbing in edit set mode

	Note on DEMO MODE
	You cannot select DEMO MODE when a cassette is inserted in your VCR.

	The display does not appear when you connect and output through the i.LINK cable
	(DV connecting cable).
