HIGH DEFINITION
What is High Definition (HD)?
For many years, people have been watching TV and DVD in Standard Definition (SD), This means the video has a maximum resolution of 720 pixels across by 576 pixels high (PAL) i.e. there are 576 horizontal lines in the image. High Definition (HD) offers a much higher resolution than SD, increasing the level of detail and size at which the image can be displayed clearly.
Full HD 1080
There are two main types of HD resolution. 720 lines of resolution is generally referred to as HD while 1080 lines of resolution is known as Full HD and offers up to 5x the resolution of standard definition or DVD resulting in amazing picture quality.
