RECORDINGS.

PRESS (SKIP) TO CANCEL

Skip Search will work for prerecorded EP tapes.

When "MOVIE ADVANCE" is selected...

If you want to stop searching for the start of the movie, simply press SKIP SEARCH or STOP.

When "MOVIE ADVANCE (PREVIEW)" is selected...

If SKIP SEARCH was inadvertently pressed, press it again to resume normal playback.

While the VCR is searching for the next preview, if you see a preview you wish to view, press SKIP SEARCH and the VCR will immediately go to the start of that preview.

If the VCR starts to reverse to a preview you do not wish to view, press SKIP SEARCH to initiate searching to the next preview.

NOTES:

Normally there is a period of black and no audio at the beginning and end of previews. The Movie Advance feature detects those parts where the picture fades to black and the audio fades to silence, and initiates fast-motion to skip over the detected previews.

Some previews may not be detected and Movie Advance may not work properly.

The setting you selected in step 3 remains in effect until the cassette is ejected.

"MOVIE ADVANCE (PREVIEW)" does not use TimeScan when searching for the next preview.
