NOTES:

●If the tape being played back has no Hi-Fi soundtrack, the Normal soundtrack will be heard no matter what choice you make at the Audio Select screen.

●If you select "HI-FI" or "MIX", the L and R symbols near the audio level meters will be illuminated. L and R will be deactivated when playing back a normal (mono) tape.

●If RF connection is used for TV, even if Hi-Fi audio monitor is selected the sound will be mono and will be reproduced in both loudspeakers.

Select The Soundtrack

Your VCR can record two soundtracks simultaneously (Normal and Hi-Fi) and play back the selected one, or both together.

	ACCESS MAIN MENU
1	SCREEN
	Press MENU during playback or when VCR is in stop
	mode.

	● If the VCR Plus+ screen appears press MENU again.

		ACCESS FUNCTION SET 1

		Place the arrow next to	MAIN MENU

	You have three choices:	AUDIO MONITOR
	a– Hi-Fi	AUDIO MONITOR
	a– Hi-Fi
4 b– Normal		=HI-FI
4 b– Normal		NORM
	c– Mix	MIX
	Place the arrow next to your
	choice by pressing CH5°	PRESS (5,°) TO SELECT
	or TIME SCAN 5°.	PRESS (MENU) TO END
	or TIME SCAN 5°.

	RETURN TO NORMAL
