Lights when an S-VHS cassette is loaded and when an S-VHS-recorded tape is played back or while recording in the S-VHS mode.

&[COUNTER/REMAIN] button

Alternates the display window between the tape counter display and the tape remaining time display.

*[COUNTER RESET] button

Resets the tape counter display to 0:00:00.

( [ZERO SEARCH] button

Stops the tape at the position of 0:00:00 on the display counter.
