Programming

Timer recording allows you to program the recorder to automati- cally record a program that will be broadcast at some future time. The timer record function can be programmed using the VCR Plus+ or Express Timer programming (☞ pg. 58) up to 16 shows each on the HDD and VHS decks as far as a year in advance. The VCR Plus+ timer programming system eliminates the need to input channel, date, start and stop time data when setting the timer record function. Simply key in the PlusCode number for the TV program you wish to record and the recorder’s timer will be automatically programmed. (The PlusCode programming numbers are the numbers next to the program in most TV listing.)

Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.

	Press VCR PLUS on the remote
	control. The indication for VCR

	PLUS+ appears on the display
	window of the remote control.

	ENTER PLUSCODE NUMBER
	Press the appropriate NUMBER
	keys to enter the PlusCode
4 number printed in the TV
			1 2 3 – – – – – –
	listings for the TV program you
	wish to record.
	● To make corrections, press CANCEL and input the
	correct PlusCode number.
	● If you want to stop programming the timer recording,
	press VCR PLUS on the remote control. The indica-
	tion on the remote control disappears.

	Press TRANS to transmit the PlusCode number from the
	remote control to the recorder.
	If “SET GUIDE CHANNEL THEN RETRY” appears on the
	screen, perform VCR Plus+ setup procedure.

	When “PROGRAM FULL DELETE UNWANTED TIMER
	PROGRAM” appears on the screen, you need to
	cancel some of the reserved programs. (☞ page 61.)
