Displaying information while watching TV

Whilst using the DVD recorder to watch TV, Press INFO (i) to display the infor- mation displayed on-screen.

aIndicates channel number, station name, and audio signal (Stereo, Bilingual, Mono) received by the tuner.

(The audio signal indication is available only for the analog channels.)

bIndicates media name and format.

cIndicates the record mode, free space, and elapsed time progress bar.

dIndicates current date and time.

eIndicates program title, start time, end time, etc.

(Extended Text Message Icon): Indicates that there is an Extended Text Message available to provide detailed descriptions of the program (see page 25).

(DTV Subtitle Icon): Indicates that the current program contains the subtitle.

(Wide Icon): Indicates that the current program is shown in wide picture format.

(Digital Text Service Icon):

Indicates that there is a digital text service available (see page 26).

Changing TV program

Use PR(+/-) on the remote control to change the program or use numbered (0-9) buttons to select a program directly.

Changing TV program with program list

You can display the TV program list using the PR LIST button and switch to other TV programs on the channel list.

While watching a program, press PR LIST to display the TV program list. Select your desired channel using the v / V and press OK( ) to change the TV program.

Switching the program list

You can switch the program list to DIGITAL TV, ANALOG TV or RADIO.

Press v to move the highlight position to top of the program list.

Press b B to select a [DIGITAL TV], [ANALOG TV], or [RADIO]. Selected pro- gram list appears.

Displaying the favorite program list

You can display the favorite channel list which contains your favorite channels. To set a favorite program, use [Program Edit] option in the Setup menu. (page 15.)

Press FAV while watching a TV. The favorite program list appears.

Press v V to select a desired program then press OK( ) to watch the selected program.
