TO CHANGE THE HARD DISK

ATTENTION: Before you change the hard disk, you must switch off and unplug the PVR to avoid any possible damage to the hard disk or the circuit.

NOTE: You should prepare a new hard disk using FDISK to partition and format it in your PC before installing it in the PVR.

The format must be FAT32 and the hard disk set to be in SLAVE mode.

After partitioning formatting the hard disk in a PC insert the new hard disk into the caddy.

Steps:

1.Connect the two cables to the hard disk.

To remove the hard disk:

1.Open the door to the hard disk.

2.Take out the hard disk using the handle.

3.Slide the cover off the hard disk caddy.

4.Use a screwdriver to take out the four screws.

5.remove the hard disk after disconnecting the power and data cables.

2.Slide the caddy cover back on.

3.Replace the retaining screws.

4.Replace the caddy into the PVR and close the door. Plug the PVR back into the electrical supply and switch on. If there is some problem with the connection re-insert the caddy to re- make the connections.
