Installation to Solid Concrete or Cinder Block

WARNING

When installing Peerless wall mounts on cinder block, verify that you have a minimum of 1-3/8" of actual concrete thickness in the hole to be used for the concrete anchors. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to mount in a solid part of the block, generally 1" minimum from the side of the block. Cinder block must meet ASTM C-90 specifica- tions. It is suggested that a standard electric drill on slow setting is used to drill the hole instead of a hammer drill to avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void or cavity.

Concrete must be 2000 psi density minimum. Lighter density concrete may not hold concrete anchor.

Make sure that the wall will safely support four times the combined load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.

1

Make sure that wall plate (A) is level, use it as a

template to mark two mounting holes. Drill two 1/4"

(6 mm) dia. holes to a minimum depth of 2.5" (64 mm). Insert anchors (H) in holes flush with wall as shown (right). Place wall plate over anchors and secure with two #14 x 2.5" screws (G). Level, then tighten all fasteners.

Skip to step 2 on page 6 for VESA 200 mm and 200 mm x 200 mm patterns.

Skip to step 2 on page 7 for VESA 75 mm and 100 mm patterns.

WARNING

Tighten screws so that wall plate is firmly attached, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage screws, greatly reducing their holding power.

Never tighten in excess of 80 in. • lb (9 N.M.).

WARNING

Always attach concrete expansion anchors directly to

load-bearing concrete.

covered with plaster, drywall, or other finishing mate-

rial. If mounting to concrete surfaces covered with a

finishing surface is unavoidable, the finishing surface

must be counterbored as shown below. Be sure

concrete anchors do not pull away from concrete

when tightening screws. If plaster/drywall is thicker

than 5/8", custom fasteners must be supplied by

installer.

SF 632, SF 635P-S, SF 632P-S, SF 632P, SF 635P specifications

Peerless Industries has established its reputation as a leader in display mounting solutions, with a particular emphasis on versatility and innovation. Among its range of products, the Peerless SF Series stands out, featuring models like the SF 632P, SF 632P-S, SF 632, and SF 635P-S. Each of these models embodies unique characteristics and technologies designed to optimize both residential and commercial display installations.

The SF 632P model is a ceiling mount designed for flat panel displays, specifically suited for environments where wall mounts are impractical. One of its hallmark features is the adjustable height, which allows users to customize the installation for optimal viewing angles, catering to different room configurations and user needs. The SF 632P-S variant includes a secure locking mechanism, offering an additional layer of safety for displays in high-traffic areas.

The standard SF 632 retains many of the advantages of the SF 632P, including its height adjustment feature. It is a versatile choice that can support a range of screen sizes and weights, making it an ideal solution for various applications, from educational settings to corporate environments. Its robust construction ensures stability, reducing the risk of accidents or equipment damage.

The SF 635P-S model introduces further enhancements with a focus on ease of use. It incorporates tools-free assembly, allowing for fast and straightforward installation. The mount is designed with integrated cable management, which not only improves aesthetics but also helps in maintaining organization in setups where multiple devices are connected. Such features are crucial in today’s tech-centric environments where clutter can easily detract from professionalism.

Across the SF Series, the common technology that sets these mounts apart is their ergonomic design philosophy. This ensures that adjustments can be made simply and safely, addressing the needs of both the installer and the end-user. The models feature a contemporary appearance, ensuring they complement modern interiors while offering functionality that enhances user experience.

In summary, Peerless Industries' SF Series models are a testament to thoughtful engineering and design. They combine practical features such as height adjustment, safety mechanisms, and tool-free assembly, making them suitable for a variety of settings. Whether for commercial use or residential setups, these mounts provide reliable performance and aesthetic appeal, underscoring Peerless Industries' commitment to quality and innovation in the display mounting market.
