Set-Top Box hardware/software information display.

To view information on the operational environment of the Set-Top Box, complete the following procedures.

1.Select ‘Diagonistics’ in ‘System Settings’ screen and then press the OK( )button.

2.A new window appears displaying all information on current status including Set-Top Box hardware, and software release notes, version, tuning status, etc.

•Urgent Message Display

This function allows the subscribers to determine whether to display urgent messages on the screen immediately or not. You can enable or disable this function as follows:

1.Press “Urgent Message Display” in the “Systems Settings” menu. Press the OK( )button.

2.A new window appears allowing you to select ‘On’ or ‘Off’.

If ‘Enable’ is selected, the emergency message is displayed on the screen immediately on arrival.

If ‘Disable’ is selected, the message icon is not displayed on the screen.

Note: In such a case, the user would not know if a new message has arrived. To check for messages, the user has to access the B-mail icon.

•Set Up A New Card

This function enables copying the viewing information of the existing card to a new one when you are replacing Set-Top Box card with a new card.

1.Select ‘Set Up A New Card ‘ option in the ‘Systems Setting’ menu and then press the OK( )button.

2.A screen appears asking you to confirm new card installation once again.

Select ‘Yes’ to proceed to the next step, or select ‘No’ to return to System Settings menu screen.

3.Follow the instructions on the screen.
