THE MENU SYSTEM

HOME CONTROL

Home Control lets you remotely control several lamps and appliances through your DSS® receiver. To control these devices, you must first connect a Home Control Data Interface to the receiver and a remote module to the device you want to control.

Once you have connected your Home Control devices, you can control them through the on-screen menus.

CONNECTING HOME CONTROL MODULES

Install Batteries in the Data Interface Control Module

1.Remove the cover from the battery compartment.

2.Insert batteries as shown in the battery compartment, matching the + and - end of each battery.

3.Replace the cover.

Connect the Home Control Data Interface Module

1.Plug the Data Interface cable into the LOW SPEED DATA port on the back of the DSS® receiver and tighten the screws.

2.Snap the other end of the cable into the Data Interface module.

3.Plug the Data Interface module into a power outlet, making sure to insert the plug completely.

4.Plug the DSS® receiver power cord plug into the Data Interface module’s convenience outlet. Be sure to insert the plug completely.

Connect the Home Control Lamp Module

1.Plug the lamp power cord plug into the Lamp module. Be sure to insert the plug completely.

2.Plug the Lamp module into a power outlet, making sure to insert the plug completely.

Insert the batteries

Connect the cables.

Connect the power cord.
