4.4.2.Menu language
(1)Select the language.
The menu language can be switched between {German } and {English} .
(2)Select the font.
The automatic changeover of the font is defined in the DVB standard – Unfortunately not all broadcasting institutes keep to this standard, and characters in a text can appear in the wrong font.
The automatic font changeover is provided in the unit, but different fonts can also be set if needed so that e.g. Greek text is displayed in the correct font making it readable.
Selection: {Auto} {Standard} {Latin} {Cyrillic} {Arabian} {Greek }{Hebrew}
4.4.3.Signal paths
Activating and changing individual fields is carried out as follows.
Select the desired entry field {XYZ} with [0....9] or [▼] / [▲], and activate it by pressing [OK].
The parameters are set with the [▼] or [▲] button. With [OK] the selection is completed.

If {ON} is selected, the video and audio signals are passed on from the TV socket to the VCR socket also in standby.
If {OFF} is selected, the power consumption is ca. 0.5 watts less.

(4)Picture format
When the unit is set to {4:3}, all programmes will appear in 4:3 format.
When the unit is set to {16:9}, the programmes, which are transmitted in broadband format and the appropriate recognition is transmitted, are automatically switched to 16:9 representation. The automatic adaptation of the video width only occurs if your television unit can process and display 16:9 formats (Switching voltage 16:9 = 6 Volt).
