Playing Audio CDs and MP3 Discs

Using IntroScanTM

The IntroScan system plays the first ten seconds of each track on the CD (similar to the scan feature that’s on many car radios). To use the IntroScan system:

1.Press INFO on the remote or the front of the player (the Info Display appears).

2.Highlight the IntroScan icon. Press OK. The first ten seconds of each track will play.

After the IntroScan system goes through all of the tracks, it stops.

If you want to stop the IntroScan system while it’s in progress, press PLAY on the remote. The current track starts playing in its entirety.

Using Bookmarks

The bookmark feature lets you mark a place on the disc that you can go to quickly. You can store up to nine bookmarks per disc. When you turn the player off or remove the disc, bookmarks are cleared.

Storing a Bookmark

1.While a disc is playing, press MARKER on the remote (the bookmark display appears).

Note: You can also bring up the Marker display by pressing the INFO button on the remote and selecting the Bookmark icon from the info display.

2.An available unmarked icon will be highlighted (in the Mark row).

3.When you reach the place you want to mark, press OK. The highlighted Mark box and the Go To box above it will be checked and the place is marked.

4.To mark more places, use the arrow buttons to highlight an empty Mark box and repeat step 4 above.

5.Press CLEAR to remove the display from the screen.
