ADJUSTING SOUNDS

You can adjust following sound settings: BASS, TREBLE, L/R BALANCE, EQ MODE, and the DIRECT mode.

Adjusting Sound Settings

1Press SOUND repeatedly to select the setting you want to adjust.

Each time you press SOUND, the display changes as follows:

BASS

TRE. (TREBLE)

BAL. (L/R BALANCE)

EQ MODE*

DIRECT

*The currently selected EQ mode is displayed in the DVD receiver display.

2Rotate MULTI JOG to adjust each setting.

BASS:

Adjusts the BASS level.

 

(–10 to +10 dB)

TREBLE:

Adjusts the TREBLE level.

 

(–10 to +10 dB)

L/R BALANCE: Adjusts the speaker balance.

 

(L+6 dB to R+6 dB)

EQ MODE:

Selects the equalizer mode.

 

(ROCK, POP, JAZZ, CLASSIC,

 

FLAT)

DIRECT:

Turns on/off the DIRECT mode.

 

When this is set to ON, a sound

comes directly without Digital Signal Processor (DSP) processing.

3Press MULTI JOG.

You can select the EQ MODE by pressing EQ on the remote control repeatedly.

You can turn on/off the DIRECT mode by pressing DIRECT on the remote control.
