Chapter 4 Playing Digital Media Files

Mute Button

Pressing the MUTE button mutes all audio from the Player.

Page Up, Page Down Buttons

When viewing a long file list, use the Page Up and Page Down buttons to quickly scroll through the list.

Directional Keypad

The four Directional keypad buttons are used to navigate around the Player’s tele- vision interface screens. When an item is highlighted on a screen, press the appro- priate direction button to move the highlight to a different option.

Enter Button

The “ENTER’ button activates the highlighted item on the television screen.

Frame Button

The “FRAME” button activates different frames within the currently active window, and can only be used while surfing the Internet via the Player.

Tab Button

The “TAB” button moves the cursor laterally (left to right) in the television inter- face screen, or when surfing the Internet via the Player.

Video, Music, Photo, and Internet Buttons

These buttons generate the Video (see page 41), Music (see page 43), Photo (see page 45), and Internet (see page 47) screens, respectively.
