Power Supply

Each SC827 chassis model includes a high-efficiency 80 Plus Gold Level power supply, rated at 1200 or 1400 Watts. In the unlikely event your power supply fails, replacement is simple and can be accomplished without tools.

Air Shroud

The SC827 chassis requires mylar air shrouds for each node to direct the airflow where cooling is needed. The air shroud will differ for different motherboards. If using a motherboard which is not the default in the chassis, refer to the optional parts in the Appendix of this manual, or the Supermicro Web site at www.supermicro.com to puchase the proper air shroud.
