4.3 DTV / TV Audio Adjustment

4.3.1 Audio Mode

When the MENU button is pressed, the On Screen Display (OSD) appears on the PICTURE adjustment page.

Press the button to display the AUDIO ADJUST page. Press the button to highlight the Audio Mode selection.

Use the or button to choose from Flat, Rock, Pop, Classic or Jazz.

Equalizer adjustments are available for you to set them to your preferred settings.

Once the adjustments are completed press the EXIT button to exit the OSD completely.

4.3.2 Equalizer

Press the button to highlight the Equalizer selection.

A new menu will be displayed showing volumes of different frequencies (pitches).

Use the or button to select the frequency to be adjusted.

Starting from lowest to the highest pitch, they are 120 Hz, 500Hz, 1.5 kHz, 5kHz and 10kHz.

Press either or button to adjust the selected frequency to your preference.

For example if you want to boost the bass you would highlight 120Hz and turn it up.

Once the adjustments are completed press the EXIT button to exit the OSD completely.

Note: The equalizer option is not available in the SRS TSXT surround effect mode.

4.3.3 Balance

Press the button to highlight the Balance selection. Use the or button to adjust the left/right balance.

Once the adjustments are completed press the EXIT button to exit the OSD completely.
