Added Audio (Sound) Features

Even though; the SV420XVT1A comes equipped with SRS (TruSurroundXT) digital audio, your TV has a built-in enhancement feature called Wireless Speaker which allows you to upgrade the audio to Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound; through the purchasing of our Wireless Speakers System.

4.3.8 Wireless Speaker

Press either or button to scroll either up or down to Wireless Speaker. Press either or button to select it either On or Off.

If you select ON and the following message appears; that implies that the TV has not been upgraded with the Wireless Speaker System. By no having the upgrade, all the features or options which apply to the Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound are not available

If you had obtained the upgrade (Wireless Speaker System) kit, and still the above message is displayed please refer to the instructions which come with the upgrade kit to verify that you had done the correct steps to match up or pair up the Wireless set and the TV.

4.3.9 Speaker Setting

This option allows having a better or handing control of the Wireless System. Press the button to highlight the Speaker Setting selection.

Press to accept it. The following options and adjustments will become available to you to set the TV sound to your desired preferences.

Speakers Location

When selecting this option, the TV will reproduce a sound which will indicate the location of the different speakers as well and their proper operation. It means that while the screen will show the an icon of the speaker being test, the sound will let you know not only if the speaker is properly functioning, but also will let you know if it is in the right position (Left, Center, Right, Left Rear, Subwoofer and Right Rear) maximizing the sound quality of the surround sound and the reproduction of the special effects (i.e; airplanes traveling direction, explosions,., etc) of a movie.

Press the button to highlight the Speaker Location option. Press button to run this option.

Press either the MENU key to stop the cycling of this option and go back to previous menu display or the EXIT key to exit the OSD completely.
