Dynamic Range Control (DRC)

Line1 Select

DRC (Dynamic Range Control) enables you to control the dynamic range so as to achieve a suitable sound for your equipment.

Press SETUP in the stop mode.

1 Press b or a to select “Audio”, then press 5 or ENTER.

If you connect an another unit (DVD, VCR or etc.) to the LINE IN1 sockets, you must select the type of audio input.

Press SETUP in the stop mode.

2 Press 4 or 5 to select “DRC”.

Optical: The Optical lead is connected to the OPTICAL IN socket.

Coaxial: The Coaxial lead is connected to the COAXIAL IN socket.

Analog: The Audio/Video lead is connected to the Audio(L/R)/VIDEO INPUT(LINE IN1) sockets.

Press ENTER.

4 The selected appropriate type remains.

5 Press SETUP or RETURN to close the screen.

Notes:

• This function works only during playback of Dolby Digital recorded discs.

The level of Dynamic Range Reduction may differ depending on DVD video disc.
