HOW TO OPERATE

A. Sending song files to JB-199 Premier

-Click on FOLDER button on the left side panel. Select a directory in which the new song files are stored. The new song files will appear on the left side window.

-The left side window will show five columns: File Name, Title, Singer, Number, Country. The title and singer columns will be blank if a song list file, juke.txt, has not been created previously.

-Edit the title and singer, followed by ENTER.

Note: Be sure to press ENTER after each inputting of title or singer.

-When all changes are made for titles and singers, click on SAVE LIST button on the left side. The song list will be saved as a file juke.txt.

-Click on REFRESH button to update the song list.

-Songs will be grayed out and disabled from transfer if they are missing some or all of its components. Check and compare the contents of the folder to juke.txt for any mismatches in file names.

Note: The last column, Country, is currently disabled.

Note: The song list can be made independently using a text editor such as Notepad and saved as a file juke.txt in the folder. Then, when the folder is opened by the JB199 Manager program, the file, juke.txt, will automatically load into the song list.

The format of the juke.txt file is as follows:

00001Love me tenderElvis Presley

00002I just called to say I love youStevie Wonder

...

where the file name, title, and singer are divided by “” (Shift-\). The title and singer

must be less than 48 characters long. See Chapter: DataCD & DataStick for more instruction.

-Place check marks on the song files that you wish to send to JB-199 Premier. Place check mark on the top square if you wish to select them all.

-Input song numbers (NUM) followed by ENTER for each song. You can press Auto Numbering to assign the song numbers automatically starting from the last song number existing in JB-199 Premier.

Note: Song numbers (NUM) cannot be saved in juke.txt. They are assigned temporarily for sending files only.

-Click on the right arrow button in the center of the screen to begin sending song files to JB-199 Premier.

When transfering from a remote PC, be sure the JB-199 Premier is powered on to its Jukebox play mode, and not in Windows platform.

66Note: Be sure to register the newly transfered songs by going to 1. Jukebox in MENU.
