Operation with Audio CD and MP3/WMA Disc (Continued)

Pause CD MP3 WMA

1Press PAUSE/STEP X/C during playback.

2To return to playback, press PLAY N or press PAUSE/STEP X/C again.

Repeat A-B CD

To repeat a sequence.

1During disc playback, press A-B RPT at your chosen starting point.

The Repeat icon and “A * ” appears on the menu screen.

Moving to another Track

2Press A-B RPT again at your chosen end point.

WMA

The Repeat icon and “A B” appears on the menu screen,

and the sequence begins to play repeatedly.

 

 

 

Press SKIP > or . briefly during

playback to go to the next track or to return to the beginning of the current track.

Press SKIP . twice in quick successions to step back to the previous track.

In case of audio CD, to go directly to any track, enter the track number using the numbered buttons (0-9) during playback.

Repeat Track/All/Off CD MP3 WMA

You can play a track/all on a disc.

1Press REPEAT when playing a disc. The repeat icon appears.

2Press REPEAT to select a desired repeat mode.

Track: repeats the current track.

All: repeats all the tracks on a disc.

Off(No display): does not play repeatedly.

Note:

If you press SKIP (>) once during Repeat Track playback, the repeat playback will be cancelled.

Search CD MP3 WMA

1Press REW m or FF M during playback.

The player will now go into SEARCH mode.

2Press REW m or FF M repeatedly to select the required speed: mX2, mX4, mX8 (backward) or MX2, MX4, MX8 (forward).

Search speed and direction are indicated on the menu screen.

3To exit SEARCH mode, press PLAY N.

3To exit the sequence and return to normal play, press A-B RPT again.

The Repeat icon and “OFF” appears on the menu screen.

3D Surround CD

To produce a 3D surround effect that simulates multi- channel audio from two stereo speakers (instead of the five+ speakers normally required for multi-channel audio from a home theater system).

1Press AUDIO during playback.

“3D SUR.” appears on the menu screen.

2To return to normal playback, press AUDIO repeated- ly until “3D SUR.” disappears from the menu screen.

Random CD MP3 WMA

1Press RANDOM during playback or when playback is stopped.

The unit automatically begins Random Playback and “RANDOM” appears on the menu screen.

2To return to normal playback, press RANDOM. “RANDOM” disappears from the menu screen.
