Scroll up or down to this selection, then press ENTER to choose. In level 8, there is no any restrictions to the viewer and will permit viewing of DVDs of all ratings.

Selecting a value between 2 and 7 will permit the viewing of DVDs rated at or below the set value only.

LEVEL 1: Most Restrictive (suitable for viewing by all fam-

ily members)

Selecting a value of 1 will only permit those DVDs rated

as suitable for all ages to be played on your player.

7 System Setup (V) - Ratings

The rating of each DVD is encoded by the manu- facturer and it is this code that is read by the player. Running System Setup to the player to set the default limitation level. When playing a DVD in which the level was set higher by the publisher than the default level you set to the player, the program will not be played.
