Use the /buttons to select Off, PCM, or All.

-Select “Off” if you are not using the digital audio outputs.

-Select “PCM” (or Pulse Code Modulation) if the digital audio output is connected to a 2- channel digital AV preamp.

-Select “All” if the digital audio output is con- nected to an AV preamp with a Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound processor.

Night Mode

Down Sampling

Down samples high definition audio signals if your AV preamp is not capable of decoding them.

Use the /buttons to select On or Off.

-Select “On” if your preamp is NOT capable of handling 96 kHz signals. The DVD Player will automatically down sample any 96 kHz signals to 48 kHz so your system can decode them.
