Displaying ﬁle information (ID3 TAG)

While playing a MP3 ﬁle containing ﬁle information, you can display the information by pressing DISPLAY repeatedly.

MP3/WMA music ﬁle requirement

MP3/WMA compatibility with this unit is limited as fol- lows:

•Discs must be ﬁnalized.

•The DVD player can only recognize the ﬁrst session on multisession discs.

•File extensions: “.mp3”, “.wma”

•Sampling frequency: within 8 - 48 kHz (MP3), within 22 - 48kHz (WMA)

•Bit rate: within 8 - 320kbps (MP3), within 32 - 256kbps (WMA)

•CD-R/RW, DVD±R/RW Format: ISO 9660

•Maximum Files/Disc: Less than 650 (total number of ﬁles and folders)

•VBR WMA playback: No

•WMA lossless encoding compatible: No

•DRM (Digital Rights Management) compatible: No

(DRM-protected audio ﬁles will not play in this player- see also DRM in the “Glossary” on page 34)
