Playing a Disc—Continued

Frame-by-Frame playback

DVD DivX VCD

Press [ ] repeatedly to play Frame-by-Frame playback.

Fast forward or fast reverse

DVD DivX VCD ACD WMA MP3

Press [] or [ ] to play fast forward or fast reverse during playback.

You can change the various playback speed by pressing [] or [ ] repeatedly. Press [ ] to continue play at normal speed.

For DVD and DivX discs, four speeds are available. For other discs, three speeds are available.

Playing repeatedly ALL

To return to normal playback,

REPEAT

press REPEAT repeatedly to

 

select [Off].

On a Video CD with PBC, you must set PBC to [Off] to use this function (see page 22).

For DivX, MP3, and WMA discs, when you select the Repeat All while the track in the folder is playing repeat play starts within the folder.

Repeating a specific portion (A-B)

Press A-B at the beginning of the

Selecting a subtitle language DVD

During playback, press SUBTITLE repeatedly to select a desired subtitle language.

Watching from a different angle DVD

If the angle indicator appears on the screen for a moment, you can select a different camera angle by pressing ANGLE repeatedly.

Hearing a different audio

DVD DivX VCD

During playback, press AUDIO repeatedly to switch between the available audio languages, channels or encoding methods.

For VCD disc, press AUDIO to switch its L, R, and stereo channels.

Slow down the playing speed

DVD DivX VCD

While playback is paused, press [ ] or [ ] to slow down reverse or forward playback.

RANDOM

Notes:

Press RANDOM.

Random playback starts.

To cancel random playback, press RANDOM again.

You can change the various playback speed by pressing [] or [ ] repeatedly. Press [ ] to continue play at normal speed.

Four playback speeds are available. Only forward play- back can be slowed down for DivX and VCD discs.

Random Repeat playback is possible with CD, MP3, and WMA discs. During random playback, press

REPEAT.

For MP3 and WMA discs, all of the files in the folder containing the currently selected file will be played randomly.
