Random Play

The chapters or tracks of the disc are played in random order.

Press RANDOM while stopped.

RANDOM indicator lights up.

To cancel random play

Press RANDOM while stopped so that RANDOM indicator goes off.

Each time you press RANDOM, random play will be on and off.

Notes

You cannot play DVDs in random order.

When playing a PBC compatible Video CD with PBC on, you cannot use this function.

To use this function, turn PBC off by pressing TOP MENU first.

In Random play, Reverse skip is not possible. You can only skip forward.

Desired disc or title can be played back repeatedly.

Press REPEAT repeatedly.

Each time you press REPEAT, the repeat option changes.

At the time of DVD playback

 

 

 

 

CHAPTER REPEAT ON

Repeats the current chapter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TITLE REPEAT ON

Repeats the current title.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

REPEAT OFF

 

Resumes normal playback.

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the time of Video CD/CD playback

 

 

REPEAT ONE

Repeats the current track.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

REPEAT ALL

Repeats the entire disc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

REPEAT OFF

Resumes normal playback.

 

 

 

 

 

Note

With DVD, the REPEAT button functions only for playback.

To cancel repeat play

Press REPEAT so that REPEAT indicator goes off.

Notes

When playing a PBC compatible Video CD with PBC on, you cannot use this function.

To use this function, turn PBC off by pressing TOP MENU first.

With some DVDs, repeat playback may not be possible.

For playing MP3, WMA or JPEG files repeatedly, see page 20.

To repeat program play

During program playback, press the REPEAT button on the remote controller.

Each press of the button switches the mode.
