Setting the Sleep Timer

Using the On/Off Timer

The sleep timer automatically turns off the TV/VCR at the time you select. This is convenient if you like to fall asleep with the television on.

1Press MENU to display the menu.

2Press CH▼ until “Time Set” is selected. Press VOL+.

3Press CH▼ until “Sleep” is selected.

4 Press VOL+ or VOL– to set the length of time you want the TV/VCR to remain on; off, 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, or 180 minutes.

5Press MENU to exit the menu.

This timer turns the TV/VCR on or off at a specific time. You may set the on time, the off time, or both the on and the off time. Whatever you choose, you must turn the timer on after you set the on or off times.

1Press MENU to display the menu.

2Press CH▼ until “Time Set” is selected. Press VOL+.

1Press CH▼ to select “On Time.”

2Press VOL+ to make the hour flash.

1Press CH▼ to select “Off Time.”

2Press VOL+ to make the hour flash.

3Press CH▲ or CH▼ to set the hour the set will turn off.

4Press VOL+ to make the minutes flash.

5Press CH▲ or CH▼ to set the minute the set will turn off.

6Press VOL+ and CH▲ or CH▼ to set the timer “On”.

7Press MENU to exit the menu.
