Viewing the Connection Panel

Rear Panel Jacks

Use the rear panel jacks to connect A/V components that will be connected continuously, such as VCR or DVD players. For more information on connecting equipment, see pages 8-13.

Connect to the video output jacks of VCRs, DVD players and similar devices.

2AV OUT

Connect to the audio/video input jacks of a recording VCR.

3COMPONENT IN 1, 2 (480i/480p/720p/1080i) Connect Component audio and video.

Side Panel Jacks

4HDMI IN

Connect to the HDMI jack of a device with an HDMI output.

5ANT IN

Connect to an antenna(air) or cable TV system.

Use the left side panel jacks to connect a component that is used only occasionally, such as a camcorder or video game. (See page 11) The product color and shape may vary depending on the model.
