Using Block Repeat

Block repeat allows you to repeat a section of tape that you select. You can repeat this section of tape (the “block”) from one to ten times, or endlessly.

Press the MENU button.

Press the UP/DOWN▲▼ button to select “VCR Setup”, then press the LEFT/RIGHT œ√ button.

You can choose to have your “block” repeat from one to ten times, or endlessly.

Press the UP/DOWN▲▼ button to select “Block Repeat”, then press the LEFT/RIGHT œ√ button to select the number of times you want your “block” to repeat.

Press the MENU button to return to normal viewing.

Insert and play a pre-recorded video cassette tape.

Press the REPEAT button at the beginning of the “block” you want to repeat.

For information on inserting and

playing a tape, see pages 5.1 and 5.2.

“Repeat” section should be set up

at a minimum five-second interval.

When you reach the end of the “block,” press the REPEAT button again.

The VCR will rewind the tape to beginning of the block and repeat it.

The VCR will repeat the block as many times as the number you set in step 2.

The word “Repeat” will appear on

the screen.

To stop block repeat, press the STOP, or POWER buttons. You can also can- cel block repeat by fast forwarding or rewinding to a point outside the “block.”
