WISELINK

Using the WISELINK Function

This function enables you to view and listen to photo (BASELINE, JPEG) and audio files (MP3) saved on a memory device.

Do not apply excessive force when you insert/eject the memory card or USB device.

Do not place the memory card or USB device near a strong electro-magnetic device.

Do not allow metal substances to come in contact with the terminals on the memory card.

Do not bend, drop or apply strong shock to memory cards or USB devices.

Only alphanumeric characters must be used as a filename (photo, music). The filename with non-alphanumeric characters is displayed with “???”.

If a filename is too long, the filename is represented as follows: “filename...+.jpg” or “filename...+.mp3”.

The file system only supports FAT16/32.

Certain types of USB Digital camera and audio devices may not be compatible with this TV.

WISELINK only supports the USB Mass Storage Class device (MSC). MSC is a Mass Storage Class Bulk-Only Transport device. Examples of MSC are Thumb drives and Flash Card Readers.

Before inserting your memory card or USB device into the TV, please back up your files. SAMSUNG is not responsible for any data file damage or data loss.

The data files in memory cards might be erased due to electrostatic discharge (EST), loose contact, or dust.

When turning the system on and switching to WISELINK Mode when memory devices are inserted into all the Parallel, USB, Memory 1 and 2 Slots, some memory devices may not be recognized by the system. In this case, separate and reinstall the memory device in question.

This product supports USB devices that have only 512byte data block size.

This PDP SET does not support MEMORY STICK with MAGIC GATE. However it supports MEMORY STICK without MAGIC GATE and MEMORY STICK PRO with MAGIC GATE.

1.Insert an USB device containing JPEG and/or MP3 files into the WISELINK jack (USB jack) on the side of the TV.

2.Insert a memory card(s) containing JPEG and/or MP3 files into one (or both) of the slots on the side of the TV.

Insert an SD/SM/MMC/MS/ MSPRO/XD memory card in the upper Memory slot.

Insert a CF/MD/ MAGICSTOR memory card into the lower Memory slot.

1.Press the MENU button to display the menu. Press the ENTER button to select “Input”.

Press the or button to select “WISELINK”, then press the ENTER button.

Move Enter Return

2.Press the or button to select a corresponding memory device, then press the ENTER button.

A menu for selecting the Photo or Music files or setup function on a selected memory device will be displayed.

Move Enter Exit

3.Press the œ or button to select an icon (“Photo”, “Music” or “Setup”), then press the ENTER button.

To exit WISELINK mode, press the WISELINK button on the remote control.

Move Enter Return

Press the WISELINK button on the remote control to turn on the WISELINK mode.
