Changing the STEREO Settings
If you live in an area that has poor reception (due to weak frequency), you may hear
noise and experience poor sound quality during the channel selection. Set the stereo
setting to Off to eliminate the noise. Select Off and set the MTS setting to Mono.

Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select “Sound”, then press the ENTER button.

Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select “MTS Setting”, then press the ENTER button.

Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select “ON”, then press the ENTER button.
Press the MENU button to exit.
•If the sound quality is poor while you are watching a program broadcast in stereo, press the MTS button and select “Mono.”
•You cannot use the bilingual function while you are watching a program in mono.
•If you set the stereo setting to Off and change the channel, the setting remains Mono regardless of the properties of the signals sent from the broadcaster.
•Press the MTS button to switch between Mono and Stereo.
(Please note that it works only when the broadcast is done in stereo.)
