ENSURING COMPLETE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE MENU BUTTON AND DIRECTIONAL THUMBSTICK
Usually, once you assign a component to a device button, the MENU button will access the menu of that device. If the menu does not appear, see Learning: Setting Up your EVOLUTION 50/55 to Learn Additional Button Commands (on page 9).
Once you confirm the MENU button will access your device’s menu, check that the directional thumbstick on your EVOLUTION 50/55 will navigate the menus of your device.
There are three typical cases:
1.All 4 directions and the SELECT button work
2.All 4 directions work and the SELECT button must be learned
3.All 4 directions and the SELECT button must be learned
For more information, see Learning: Setting Up the EVOLUTION 50/55 Thumbstick to Navigate Menus Up, Down, Left, or Right (on page 10).
NOTE: If you no longer have the original remote, visit a dealer who carries your component (or the nearest model) and ask them for assistance with Learning using your EVOLUTION 50/55 and their remote.
