Special Functions Buttons

A - B - C - D Buttons: Similarly labeled buttons are often found on Blu-ray Disc™ player remotes. Typically they are used to create a specialized command or series of commands. You can use the IR Learning feature to map the functions on your Blu-ray’s remote to your EVOLUTION 50/55. See the section, Learning: Setting Up Your Evolution 50/55 to Learn Additional Button Commands for more information (on page 9).

MENU Button: Displays the Main Menu of Blu-ray Disc players, AV Receivers, and other AV components.

PG EXIT Button: Used to exit the Channel Guide of a Cable / Satellite receiver when the EVOLUTION 50/55 is in STB mode. May also be used to exit menus on a Blu-ray player when in DVD mode.

SHIFT Button: Enables the Page UP feature on the button and Page DOWN feature on the PG EXIT button. These paging features are used to navigate the menus of Cable/Satellite services.
