Text is information that is presented using from a half to a full television screen. It is usually not related to the program.

For example, it could be a listing of the closed-captioned programs, news, weather information or stock market reports.

 

Select the desired

If you select this menu immediately after changing to a closed-captioned channel, all the items may be displayed in cyan.

To deactivate this function

Select the "OFF" mode in the closed

caption select mode display.

Press- or ÷ until "TEXT 1" or "TEXT 2" is displayed in magenta.

Note:

When you select the "TEXT" mode, the TEXT screen will always be displayed.

However, if TEXT character signals are not transmitted, the characters are not displayed.
