Troubleshooting

Here are some simple solutions to some problems which may affect the picture and sound.

Problem	Solution
No picture (screen is dark), no sound	•	Plug in the TV in.
	•	Press φ on the TV (if φ indicator is on, press Ο or a programme number
		on the Remote Commander).
	•	Check the aerial connection.
	•	Check if the selected video source is on.

Poor or no picture (screen is dark), but sound is OK	•	Press	to enter the PICTURE CONTROL menu and adjust the
		brightness, contrast and colour.

Poor picture quality when watching an RGB video source •		Press Ζ repeatedly to select		.

Poor picture quality of PAP screen	•	Press .

Good picture but no sound	•	Press	+.

•Check loudspeakers connection.

•If ο is displayed on the screen, press ο.

No colour for colour programmes	•	Press to enter the PICTURE CONTROL menu, select RESET, then
		press OK.

Remote Commander does not function	•	The batteries are weak.

If you continue to have problems, have your TV serviced by qualified personnel. Never open the casing yourself.
