Record button protection

Record button protection

The SRC-1600 has a protection feature to prevent accidental recording of videotapes, hard disks or DVDs. The record button must be pressed for two seconds to begin recording.

NOTE: This only applies to the record button. If you program another button to record, this safety feature will not work for that button.

Punch thru

The punch thru function enables you to access the VOL +/– controls of the TV or RECV device without having to switch to that device. For example, while you are watching a DVD you can adjust the volume of your TV using punch thru.
