Keyspan: Remote for iTunes - User Manual (Mac OS X & Windows)

1 Introduction

The Keyspan Remote for iTunes infrared remote can be used to control iTunes on your computer in the same convenient way that you now control a TV or VCR. Use the Remote for iTunes with MP3 players, DVD players, audio CD players, TV tuners, presentation software and more.

Upgrade Notice:

You can also purchase an upgrade to your Remote for iTunes that will allow you to connect your Remote for iTunes to an AirPort Express. This allows control iTunes wherever your AirPort Express is located. For more details about this upgrade, please contact Keyspan for further information.

Requirements

Battery: Remote Control uses two CR2025 (Lythium 3V) batteries (included)

Mac OS: An available USB port; Mac OS 8.6 (or later)

Mac OS X: An available USB port; Mac OS X 10.2 (or later)

Windows: An available USB port; Windows 98/98SE/Me/2000/XP

Additional Requirements if your Remote for iTunes has been upgraded for AirPort Express compatibility:

Airport Express: iTunes version 4.7 or later (for Mac or PC); Airport Express firmware 6.1 or later; Windows 2000/XP (or later); Mac OS X 10.3 (or later); Keyspan Express Remote remote control model URM-17A; Keyspan Express Remote receiver model UIA-11H or UIA-11F.
