Setting the Sleep Timer

You can set your TV to automatically turn off after a preset interval.

Press the SLEEP button on

1 the remote control.

Press the button to select “CH”, then

7 press the or button to select the channel you want when the TV turns on.

Press the button to select “Vol”, then

8 press the or button to select the volume level you want when the TV turns on.

Press the button to select “Activation”,

9 then press the or button to select “Yes”. When On/Off timers are set, the “Timer” LED will illuminate (front or side panel of TV.)

When you are finished, press the

10 MENU button twice.

If you want to set the Off Timer, press

11 the or button to select “Off Timer”. Set the “Off Timer” just as you set the “On Timer”. Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

You’ll see “Off” at the

2 bottom of the screen. Press the Sleep button to select the time interval for the TV to stay on.

The interval ranges from 30 to 180 minutes.

NOTE

• If no signal is received for 15 minutes, the TV will be automatically turned off.

Absent Power Off

When you set the timer “On”, your television will eventually be turned off,

if you do not operate any controls during the 3 hours after the TV is turned on by timer. This function is available in only the timer “On” mode and will prevent a leakage accident or overheating, caused by your TV left on for a long time due to the timer “On” (when you are away on holiday, for example).
