On operating voltage

Betble opelating tile systenl check that tile operating voltage of your system is identical with the voltage of your local power supply

On safety

Tile system is not disconnected fronl tile AC powe! source (mains) as long as it is connected to the wall outlet, even if the system itself has been turned oft'.

Unplug tbe system from tbe wall outlet (mains) if it is not to be used for an extended period of time. To discmmect the power cord (mains lead), pull it out by the plug. Never pull tbe cord itself

Should any solid object or liquid fall into the system, tmplug the system and have it checked by qualified personnel belore operating it any fi_rther.

For customers in United States

One blade of the plug is wider than other for tbe pulpose of safety and will fit to the wall outlet only one way If you are rulable to inseit the plug fiflly into the outlet, contact your dealer.

AC power cord must be changed only at the qualified seia'ice shop.

On placement

Do not place tile system in an inclined position

Do not place the system in locations where it is: Extlemely hot or cold

Dusty or dilty Ve!), lmlnid Subject to vibrations

Use cantion when placing the system or speakers on surfaces tbat have been specially treated (witb wax,

oil, polish, etc) as staining or discoloration of the surface may resnlt

On heat build-up

Although tile systeln beats up during opelation this is not a malfimction.

Place tile system in a location with adequate

ventilation to prevent heat bnlld-up in the system.

If you continuously use this system at a large volmne,

the cabinet tempera0;re of the top, side and bottom

rises considerably To avoid burning youlself, do not touch the cabinet

To prevent a malfimction, do not covel the

ventilation hole tbr the cooling fan

On operation

Iftbe system is blought directly frolll a cold to a warm location, o! is placed in a very damp room, moistme may condense on tile lens inside the system. Shonld this occur, the system will not operate

properly Remove the disc and leave the system turned on t_r about an hour until the moisture

evaporates.

When you move the system, take out any disc

Notes on discs

Befole playing clean the disc with a cleaning cloth. Wipe tile disc from the center out.

Do not use solvents such as benzene, ttfinne!,

commercially available cleaners or anti-static splay intended tbr vinyl LPs.

Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or heat sources such as hot air ducts nor leave it in a car parked in direct starlight.

Do not use discs encircled with a protection ring.

Tiffs may cause a malfimction to the system

When using discs that have glue or similar tack?, substance oil the label side of the disc or that used a

special ink when the label was printed, there is a chance that the disc or label may become attached to parts inside this system When this occurs, it may not be possible to remove the disc, and may also canse

this system to malfmlction. Be sure to check tbat the label side of tbe disc is not sticky betbre using.

The following b,pes of disc should not be used: Rental or used discs witb attached seals where the

ghie extends beyond tile seal. Tile perimetel of the seal oil tile disc is tacky

Discs that have labels printed using a special ink that feels tacky when touched.

Discs with non-standard slmpes (e.g., healt, square, star) cannot be played back on tiffs system.

Attempting to do so may damage the system. Do not use such discs.
