Cleaning the cabinet

Clean the cabinet panel and contlols with a soft cloth slightly moistened with mild detelgent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder or solvent such as thinner, bet_zene or alcohol.

To save a tape permanently

To prevent a tape from being accidentally recorded over, break offthe tape tab flora side A or B as illustrated.

If you later want to reuse the tape tbr recording, cover the broken tab with adhesive tape.

Before placing a tape in the tape deck

Take up any slack in the tape deck. Othm_vise file tape may get entangled in the parts of the tape deck and become damaged

When using a tape longer than

90 minutes

The tape is veiy elastic. Do not change the tape operations such as playback, stop and t=ast-winding etc

fiequently. The tape may get entangled in the tape deck.

Cleaning the tape heads

Clean the tape heads aftei evm T 10 hours of use. Be sure to clean the tape heads before you start an impoltant recording or after playing an old tape. Use a separately sold dry-b]Je or wet-type cleaning tape. For

Demagnetizing the tape heads
