#1.3. Replacing HDD

Checking HDD

ELX16 -240 file system (VFS2) sensors bad sector automatically, and the sensored bad sector is not used.

The following means when HDD is broken or has some problem in connection.

(1)When replaying is stopped or ELX16- 240 is rebooted in specific playback range.

(2)When image searching per event is impossible.

(3)When recording is stopped and “Disk Manager” shows HDD type as [X].

When primary disk is broken

When primary disk is broken, all of the connected HDD data can’t be used. So the broken HDD should be replaced and all connected HDDs should be reinstalled in “Disk Manager”. (“Remove” - > “Add” - > “Format ”).

When auxiliary disk is broken

The broken auxiliary disk should be replaced and reinstalled in “Disk Manager”. (“Ad d” -> “Format ”) .
