Timer setting

The system can be used as an alarm clock, whereby DISC or TUNER is switched on at a set time (one time operation).The clock time needs to be set first before the timer can be used.

1In standby mode, press and hold SLEEP/ TIMER on the remote control for more than three seconds.

"SET TIMER" is displayed briefly.Then, the hour digits flash on the display panel.

2Pressí/ë on the front panel or on the remote control to set the hours and press SLEEP/TIMER to confirm.

The minute digits flash on the display panel.

3Pressí/ë on the front panel or on the remote control to set the minutes and press SLEEP/TIMER to confirm.

4In standby mode, press TIMER on the remote control to activate or deactivate the timer.

Display shows if activated, and disappears if deactivated.

Sleep timer setting

The sleep timer enables the system to switch off by itself after a set period of time.

1In active mode, press SLEEP/TIMER on the remote control repeatedly to select a preset time.

The selections are as follows (time in minutes):

SLEEP OFF SLEEP 90 SLEEP 80 SLEEP 70 SLEEP 60 SLEEP 50 SLEEP 40 SLEEP 30 SLEEP 20

SLEEP 10SLEEP OFF

2When you reach the desired length of time, stop pressing the SLEEP/TIMER button.

To deactivate the sleep timer

Press SLEEP/TIMER repeatedly until "SLEEP OFF" is displayed, or press STANDBY ON y (or y on the remote).
