DVDs are recorded according to a color system, the most common of									POWER
which are NTSC and PAL. NTSC is the most common in the United States.										2
This Player is compatible with NTSC and PAL.Your TV also operates							T-C	DIM	FTS	SOUND MODE
according to a color system.
In order for a DVD to play on this Player, the color system of the DVD, the							1		2	3
TV, and the Player should match. If all three are not the same, the DVD											1,5
may play in only black and white, the picture may roll continuously, or the						2-4	4		5	6
picture may appear distorted.This feature allows you to set the Player to
match the color systems of your DVDs and your TV.							7		8	9

Black Level Shift

If you set the Player to NTSC, set Black level shift to On.This will									POWER
improve the color contrast during Disc playback. Black level shift has no										2
