Disc Operations

Shuffle play mode

In this mode, all tracks in the current directory will be played once in a random order.

1In stop mode,press SHUFFLE repeatedly to select the following:

SHUFFLE DISC REPEAT SHUFFLE DISC SHUFFLE OFF

2Press 38 to start shuffle play.

In shuffle playback mode:

Press P button to select another track in a shuffle order.

3Press 9 to stop shuffle playback.

To cancel Shuffle mode:

Press twice STOP to cancel Shuffle mode.

Notes:

In Tuner,Tape or AUX mode, this button does not function.

When the disc tray is opened, the Shuffle function will be cancelled automatically.

This function is only available for CD or VCD (PBC OFF).

Repeating a section within a chapter/

track

Programing favorite tracks

You can play the contents of the disc in the order you want. At most 99 tracks can be stored.

1Load the desired discs on the disc trays.

2While playback is stopped, press PROGRAM to enter program mode.

“P 00 : 00” is displayed.

3Use the numeric keys (0-9)to input the track number in the order you want.

If you attempt to program more than 99 tracks,“FULL” is displayed.

4Press OK to store the track.

Repeat steps 3-5to store other tracks.

5Press 38 to play the program.

6To stop playback, press 7 once.

7To exit the program mode, press 7 again.

Note:

– This function is not available for DVD or MP3 discs.

You can play a specific section in a chapter/track repeatedly.

1Press REPEAT A-Bat your chosen start point.

2Press REPEAT A-Bagain at your chosen end point.

The passage will now repeat continuously.

3To resume normal play, press REPEAT A-Bagain.

Note:

– The REPEAT A-B function can only be set within the same chapter or track.
