Getting the iPronto Up and Running

This chapter is divided in two parts. In the first part, Setting up your iPronto from page 15 on, you read how to define the general settings. The second part, Setting up your Network starting on page 20, tells you about setting up your wireless network and Internet connection.

The first time you activate your iPronto, it will lead you through some initial screens and messages. After these messages the System Settings will automatically appear on the screen. These settings are divided into five tabs:

System Settings

General: On this tab you adjust general settings such as time, power off time out and system sounds. See Setting up Your iPronto below.

Wireless: On this tab you set the wireless settings. You need to define these settings so the iPronto can be connected to your network and to the Internet. See Wireless Settings on page 21.

Network: On this tab you define your network settings. See Network Settings on page 23.
