The Remote Control

In this chapter you can find general information about the iPronto Remote Control application. You can find detailed and frequently updated information in the iPronto Online Help at http://www.pronto.philips.com/products/ipronto/help.

The iPronto Remote Control (RC) is a universal RC. This means that it can be used for virtually any audio and video device, such as a TV, VCR, DVD, CD and so on. As long as your device understands IR codes, the iPronto RC can control it. This way, the iPronto RC replaces the individual RCs that accompany your devices.

You access the iPronto RC via the touchstrip: Layout 1 is a RC. See Layouts and Touchstrip on page 30 for more information.
