12.3.1 Static IP settings

If you select Static IP as your Network Mode in Network > Network Config > Network Mode, you will need to provide the SL400i with the following manual settings for its wireless network:

IP Address

This is the fixed IP Address you want the SL400i to have in your

network. Preferably, choose one from the range 192.168.xxx.xxx.

Netmask

Enter the same netmask throughout your network. E.g.:

255.255.255.000

Gateway

Enter the IP Address of your Internet gateway router, Wireless Base

Station, or network host computer. (E.g.: 192.168.0.1 for the host

computer that provides Internet Connection Sharing.)

DNS 1

Usually, this would be the same address as the Gateway Address

above. However, some Internet Service Providers (ISP) provide you

with separate Dynamic Name Server addresses you need to use.

This should be a valid IP Address, like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

DNS 2

See DNS 1.
