Simultaneous record and play function

While recording the TV programme to the HDD is in progress, you can play a previously recorded title from the HDD, or play a DVD video disc, or watch the playback from other connected device.

Playback from HDD

Playback from DVD

Press OPEN CLOSE ç at the recorder’s front panel and load in a disc to start playback.

Playback from other device

This is only possible if this recorder is connected to the TV using the EXT1 TO TV-I/O socket.

Press TV/HDD to view the picture from the device which is connected to the EXT2 AUX-I/O socket of this recorder.

Watching other TV programmes

If there is no device connected to the EXT2 AUX-I/O socket, pressing TV/HDD will switch to the TV mode.

Use the TV’s channel up/down button to select a different TV channel.

A Press HDD-BROWSER, then press repeatedly until the title menu appears control to mark the end of the recording.

Helpful Hint:

Remember to turn the TV back to its video input channel if you want to watch the TV channel through the recorder or playback the recorded disc.
