Troubleshooting
WARNING!
Under no circumstances should you try to repair the system yourself, as this will invalidate the warranty. Do not open the system as there is a risk of electric shock.
If a fault occurs, first check the points listed below before taking the system for repair. If you are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints, consult your dealer or Philips for help.

| recorder. You may go to Channel 1 on your TV, then press the | |
| channel down button on your TV’s remote control until you see | |
| the TV programme. | |
| – Check the video connection between this recorder and the TV. | |
| – It may be due to the recorder’s video output setting not being | |
| matched to the video connection. You can reset the recorder as | |
| below : |

| 1) Disconnect the recorder’s ~MAINS from the power supply. | |
| 2) Hold down | on the recorder whilst reconnect its ~MAINS |
