Adapting remote control
If you are using two video recorders which both react to the same remote control codes, you can use this function to change remote control and video recorder to other codes.
What are remote control codes? |

Each time the button on your remote control is |

pressed, an invisible |
|
recorder. Each button has been allocated a specific |
|
code, which ensures, that the video recorder will carry |
|
out the corresponding function. If two video recorders |
|
respond to the same codes, the remote control signal |
|
emitted will be recognised and performed by both. |
|
Therefore the possibility exists, to allocate different |
|
remote control commands (with other codes) to this |
|
video recorder. This means that the uninterrupted use | PARDON? |
of both video recorders is possible once more. |
1Press the MENU button on the remote control.The
2On the remote control press the buttons SELECT and 2 simultaneously, to set the video recorder to “VCR 2” (or SELECT and 1, to set it to “VCR 1”)
What must I set? |

If two video recorders respond to the same codes, |

they are either both set to “VCR 1” or “VCR 2”. Please |
|
change the setting of only one video recorder! The | TIP |
factory setting of the video recorder is “VCR 1”. |
3Confirm with OK. The screen will show “RESPONDS TO VCR 2” or “RESPONDS TO VCR 1”. The
